Kali Adem Port to Have Official Parking Lot

The parking lot at Kali Adem Port, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta will be available soon. This parking lot will be able to accommodate 75 four-wheeled vehicles and 150 two-wheeled vehicles. It is currently still being revitalized and parking machines haven't been installed.

Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub)'s Kali Adem Port UPPD 1 Head Mohammad Faisol said that until now the official parking lot had not been operated, especially regarding parking rates.

"We are still coordinating with Parking Unit as the manager of Kali Adem Port's parking lot," he added, Thursday (3/24).

Based on the results of the coordination meeting with the Parking Unit last Friday, the official parking would operate soon. The parking management would be handed over to the Parking Unit according to the duties and functions of each field. While UPPD 1 was in charge of managing transportation service facilities and infrastructure at Kali Adem Port.

"For the time being, people who want to travel or stay in Thousand Islands can take Transjakarta bus at Line 12 A for Kota-Kali Adem Port route thus they don't have to park their vehicles overnight," he conveyed.
